APPOINTMENTS AND CANCELLATIONS
I received a text message as a reminder of my appointment that I cannot keep, after all. What should I do?
The text message is automatic. Do not try to reply. You may cancel your appointment by calling our dispatchers at +36+1-489-5200.
How many days before my appointment must I cancel if I cannot keep the appointment?
Please let us know at least 48 hours in advance so that we may give the time to some else.
How can I make an appointment online?
Click on Contact on our Main Page and follow the instructions.
If I make an appointment for someone else, whose name should the appointment be in?
The appointment should always be made in the name of the person the appointment is for.
I have a referral to your out-patient clinic, where do I need to go?
At the Királyhágó utca location, go to the Admissions Office located to the left of the Main Entrance and then to the out-patient clinic located to the right of the Main Entrance.
Under what conditions can a foreigner go to the Buda Health Center?
There are no special conditions. We treat patients equally irrespective of where they come from. We CANNOT provide the certificates necessary for a visa.
What documents do I need to bring with me?
Please bring your medical documents and results as well as your personal papers (ID, Address and TAJ cards) to the examination.
Do I need a doctor’s referral for the Out-Patient Clinic?
No referral is necessary in this case.
How much earlier than my appointment should I arrive?
Fifteen minutes would be desirable to allow time for the paper work and the admission process.
Where do I need to go for hospital admission?
You should go to the hospital Admissions Office located to the left of the Main Entrance of our Királyhágó utca location.
What is the purpose of the card?
The card is for in-house identification.
Are family members and relatives allowed to accompany me to the examination?
Since the waiting areas are of limited capacity, we ask that not more than 1 or 2 persons accompany you.
Is there a cloakroom?
Yes, there is a cloakroom in both our locations right by the Main Entrance.
Is there parking?
Free parking is available at both our locations. If the lot is full at the Nagy Jenő utca location, you may park on the surrounding streets (telephone number for automatic parking by mobile: +36-20/30/70-810-3121) or in the MOM Park Shopping Center’s underground garage. At our Királyhágó location, you will be given a card at the barrier that must be validated at the Reception Desk and used upon leaving. For those arriving by bicycle, racks are available at both locations.
QUESTIONS REGARDING BILLING AND PAYMENTS
Do you accept Euros?
Unfortunately, we cannot accept Euros at this time. Only Hungarian Forints
Should I let you know ahead of time if the invoice should be made out to someone other than myself?
Yes, definitely let us know in time since, once the invoice is made out, it cannot be altered.
How can I redeem my loyalty points?
Your loyalty points may be redeemed for our services, or the services of some of our exclusive partners or you may choose from valuable gift items.

QUESTIONS REGARDING REPORTS AND MEDICAL OPINIONS
Will you look at CT and MRI/CT scans even if they were taken somewhere else?
Yes, however, there are times when a CD cannot be opened for security reasons. In which case, you may need to leave the CD with the doctor who, with the help of an information technologist, will be able to look at the images. The CD will, of course, be returned to you at your next check-up.
Would we be able to consult with a doctor without the patient but bring all the medical documents?
No. A medically correct answer to a problem cannot be given without a personal consultation and a diagnosis not be determined without an examination.
I don’t understand the laboratory test results I received.
If you find this sentence “Your test showed some deviation from normal, please see your treating doctor”, you should consult with the doctor who ordered the test. It is also worthwhile to read the accompanying written report since it often contains instructions for you such as “checkup in 10 days”.
Has my doctor seen my test results or is it up to me to bring in a copy?
The doctor has seen your test results. There is no need for you to bring in a copy.
What healthcare is provided at the Buda Health Center’s Nagy Jenő utca location?
Out-patient care and same-day or minor surgery (i.e., mole removal, varicose vein injections, etc.). Major surgeries (i.e., kidney stone lithotripsy, laparoscopy, etc.) are not performed.
What type of health care is provided at the Királyhágó utca location?
Out-patient care is also provided at this location as well as infusion therapy, physiotherapy and gastroscopy. The National Center for Spinal Disorders offers publically financed spinal and musculoskeletal care supplemented by the hospital inpatient and surgical units. The out-patient Psychosomatic Clinic is also located here.
How much time does the Occupational Health and Manager Screening Examination take?
The screening examinations are always scheduled for the morning hours and usually end around1 p.m.
Where can I find the closest pharmacy/ATM/buffet/restroom?
The closed pharmacy is found on Böszörményi utca and in the MOM Park Shopping Center. At the Királyhágó utca address, the buffet is located on the Ground Floor and at the Nagy Jenő utca addres a coffee vending machine is found in the basement.
How can I make an appointment with Leonyid Zenzerov, the reflex therapist?
He, himself, gives the appointments. If you call our dispatchers at +36-1-489-5200, they will be happy to give you his phone number.
Is there a mother/baby room?
Yes, at the Királyhágó address, on the Ground Floor next to Examination Room No. 28.
