    The use of cookies

    Cookies are small files carrying individual text information, which are transferred to the computer when you visit a website. Cookies have numerous functions. Among other things they collect information, store the viewer’s individual settings, they are used e.g., when an online shopping cart is used, and generally they facilitate the website’s use for the users.

    It can be adjusted in every modern browser whether the viewer accepts the cookies or not. It can also be personalized in the settings whether the viewer requests a notification if the website wants to place a cookie in their browser, or how long different types of cookies can remain, or whether they should be deleted when the browser is closed. It is important to know that some services of certain websites specifically depend on cookies, thus if the cookies are blocked, the viewer may experience unexpected functioning or worse, it may become impossible to use the website’s services.

    Analytical cookies:

    • _ hjid – A cookie used by Hotjar. It contains Hotjar user identification. – Until the end of the browser’s session.

    • _ga, _ga_XXXXXXXXXX – Google Analytics: A cookie that contains the client’s Google Analytics Client ID. It is used to identify the user. – 400 days

    • _gid – Google Analytics: It is used to differentiate the users. – 1 day
    • _hjFirstSeen – It identifies the first session of a new user. – Until the end of the browser’s session.
    • _hjSessionUser_{site_id} – It is stored at the user’s first visit. The unique Hotjar user identification for the website remains. It ensures that the data generated when visiting the same website later are assigned to the same user identification. – 1 year
