Occupational Health Care Program

The Hungarian Ministry of Health Statute No. 27/1995 (7/25) states that an employer must provide occupational health care for its employees and 33/1998 (6/24) requires a medical examination to determine work suitability.

OCCUPATIONAL HEALTH CATEGORIES A, B, C AND D

• Physical examination by an Internist

• Comprehensive laboratory tests – (CBC, sedimentation rate, blood sugar, HDL and LDL cholesterol, triglyceride, ions, liver function, kidney function, comprehensive urinalysis)

• Visual acuity test

• Ophthalmological examination

• Resting ECG

• Chest x-ray

LOCATION

• Budai Health Center

EXAMINATION SCHEDULE

• Categories A and B - every 6 months to one year, depending on the work description

• Categories C and D - yearly

SERVICES

• Work suitability examinations – preliminary, periodic, final, unscheduled and special

• Work suitability report

• Medical report including evaluations, recommendations

• Statistical reports - monthly, quarterly, yearly

• Employee medical examinations planned

• Free parking

• Dressing rooms

• On site visit by occupational health physician, at least once a year,  for the assessment of possible hazardous working conditions

• Consultation regarding individual safety equipment

• Psychosocial risk assessment

• Report on findings regarding employees’ working conditions

• Preparation of notices and documents towards examining bodies

OTHER RECOMMENDED EXAMINATIONS (AVAILABLE AT A DISCOUNTED RATE, WHEN REQUESTED)

• On site immunization campaigns

• Other on site campaigns (i.e., melanoma and musculoskeletal screenings), “Good Health Day”

• Other screening examinations available at the Buda Health Center (i.e., stress ECG, ENT, musculoskeletal screening)

• Supplemental laboratory tests when required (i.e., biological exposure index)

• First Aid course

• Risk assessment, risk estimation
