Viral respiratory tract infection protocol

The Buda Health Center applies the following protocol for inpatient services:

The admission of the patient is subject to the following conditions

• In the case of a patient coming from a healthcare institution, a patient with respiratory symptoms can be accepted from the transferring institution with a negative SARS-CoV-2 rapid test. Attach a photo of the test to the patient's documentation.

Elective surgery can be performed at the earliest as follows after a viral respiratory illness:

• in the case of asymptomatic Covid positivity, at least 5 days have passed since the positive Covid rapid test
• in case of symptoms: at least 2 weeks after the symptoms have stopped
• at least 2 weeks after the cessation of viral respiratory symptoms requiring oxygen supply
