FAQ – Spine Specialist Consultation
Should I bring my previous medical records?
Yes. Please bring all previous medical documentation, including imaging studies (X-ray, MRI, CT) with the actual image files (not only the written report) on a storage device (USB drive or CD), as well as discharge summaries. If needed, new imaging studies can be performed on-site at Budai Egészségközpont.
Is the examination painful?
The physical examination is generally not painful; however, mild discomfort may occur during certain tests.
How quickly will I receive a diagnosis?
The specialist report is available at the end of the consultation. MRI or CT results are typically ready within 1–3 working days.
Will the specialist prescribe medication?
If necessary, the physician may prescribe pain relievers, anti-inflammatory medications, or drugs for neuropathic pain, as well as injection or infusion therapy. Prescriptions can only be issued to our own patients following a consultation.
When is a follow-up visit recommended?
According to medical advice: typically 6 weeks after initiating therapy. If symptoms worsen or new complaints arise, an earlier visit is recommended.
