Introduction
Zsolt Szövérfi, MD PhD, orthopedic traumatologist, spinal surgeon. Director General of the private branch of the Buda Health Center, as well as specialist of the National Center For Spinal Disorders.
He has performed more than 1.200 spinal surgeries over the years and spent more than 10.000 hours with surgical activities - in surgical and assistant tasks. He obtained his PhD in 2016 at the Doctoral College of the Semmelweis University in the subject of spine tumor surgery.
Basis of his clinical approach is that most spinal complaints do not require surgery - approximately 90% of his patients heal with conservative treatment: targeted CT guided nerve root and facet joint blocks, infusion therapy, and personalized physiotherapy. If surgery is needed, he prefers minimally invasive techniques, including MI-TLIF stabilization.
