General surgery service offers same-day and multiple day procedures, including endocrine, abdominal, soft tissue and proctological surgeries.

Our private hospital has a modern, newly built operating unit equipped with state-of-the-art, laparoscopic hardware. Patient care is delivered by recognized specialists possessing a great deal of professional experience.

Patients undergoing abdominal surgery are admitted to the newly built, 70 bedded, matrix department. The premium quality rooms of the ward are 1 or 2 bedded, spacious, with a separate bathroom.

Proficiency and security

Approximately 70% of our procedures are same-day surgeries performed by a laparoscopic technique in accordance with ERAS (Enhanced Recovery After Surgery) guidelines. Our Institute also offers surgical procedures that require multiple days of post-operative care. Our services are accessible for patients with comorbidities and for the elderly as well, as there is an option for monitoring patients for several days at the department, if that is medically reasonable and necessary. The department’s work and safe patient care are supported by related specialties located in the Institute, radiology and gastroenterology units, as well as the 10 bedded intensive care unit equipped with the most advanced instruments, which is open 24 hours a day and went through a complete renovation a few years ago.
