We were privileged to host, for the seventh time this year, third-year American college students from various fields of study as part of the Danish Institute’s Study Abroad Program. Twenty-eight to thirty students usually take part in the one-week program that includes visits to health care institutions in Vienna and Budapest.
The Buda Health Center and the National Center for Spinal Disorders was introduced through several of its departments. Dr. Gábor Jakab showed them the Radiological Department and the Outpatient Clinic; Kata Fehér answered questions regarding physiotherapy; Dr. Árpád Bozsódi described the current research and development work; and, Dániel Stoll introduced them to our Psychotherapy Department.
At the request of the Study Abroad Program, the students also had a taste of our hospital lunch, thus completing their picture of our institution. We always enjoy their visit, their interest and open mindedness.
