November is men's month.

Men are less likely to concern themselves about their health, than women.  They feel that the “real man” is tough and hard and, thus, are reluctant to see a doctor for regular checkups or even when ill.  

Movember is a worldwide campaign that encourages men to grow mustaches in the month of November to raise awareness of men's health issues, especially that of prostate disorders and the high incidence of prostate cancer that can be prevented with regular screening examinations.
