    Introduction

During the ophthalmology residency training programme I was working at the Department of Ophthalmology at Semmelweis University (Budapest, Hungary) and at the Kaposi Mór Teaching Hospital (Kaposvár, Hungary). I acquired my qualifying exam in ophthalmology in 2007 in Budapest, with my exam performance marked excellent. During the residency training as well I participated in several learning programmes abroad (especially in Italian), and after acquiring my qualifying exam I continued further training in Ireland. I worked at the Cork University Hospital at the beginning, later on I evolved my clinical and surgical skills at the departments of ophthalmology at the Royal Victoria Eye and Ear Hospital in Dublin for more than two years. In 2011 I became certified Member of the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland (MRCSI) in Dublin, moreover I acquired the European qualifying exam in ophthalmology in Paris and became Fellow of the European Board of Ophthalmology (FEBO) the same year.

During a two-year glaucoma fellowship in 2015, I started working in England at the ophthalmology ward of Warrington Hospital, where I obtained valuable practical skills in the clinical management of glaucoma patients, as well as in laser therapy and surgical techniques for the treatment of glaucoma, including minimally invasive glaucoma surgery (MIGS). After that, I treated glaucoma patients in the same place as glaucoma consultants for nearly a year.

Patients with any kind of eye problems are welcome to my consultations. I have significant experience in the diagnosis, treatment and long-term management of glaucoma, as well as in the field of refractive laser surgery procedures, which techniques I acquired after returning to Budapest.
