Introduction

In my everyday practice the majoriy of tasks are the examination of anemia or even to find out the reason of high red cell count. Patients come to me in cases of blood result alterations, increased sedimentation rate (Westergreen), or when the complains can not be explained. Patients come quite often also when iron level is high. By time I obtained a significant experience in the diagnosis and treatment of mastocytosis.  Patients therefore come in cases of  food-and/or histamin intolerance, when there is an unknown reason of flushing, weight loss, diarrhoea, headache, allegy or dizziness and fainting.

• Founder and honorary president of the Hemochromatosis Patient Association (HBE), that is a member of the European  Federation of Associations of Patients with Haemochromatosis (EFAPH ).
• Founder of Semmelweis Mastocytosis Network.Center of excellence leader in the European Competence Network on Mastocytosis (ECNM). 
• Chapter writer of the topics myelodysplastic syndromes and mastocytosis in the book edited by professor Tulassay for medical students learning intrenal medicine first in 2017, and in the updated editions in 2019 and in 2023.
